Did you know that the GCTA was recognized by the USTA in 2014 as the Community Tennis Association of the Year? We are proud of that designation and wanted to share this throwback photo of GCTA representatives who went to NYC on August 29, 2014, for the award presentation and to attend the US Open. There they were treated to a toast from Jim Hendrix, National USTA Committee Member and GCTA Trustee. Pictured here are Terri Jones (former GCTA Executive Director), Shirley Niebauer (former Treasurer), Jane McMeekin (former Secretary), and Erin Ortman (former President). Absent from the photo was Trustee Shelby Rhyne.
