The Greater Columbus Tennis Association (GCTA) is thrilled to ignite the love for tennis in Central Ohio. We are offering a helping hand to organizations and individuals who share our passion for promoting this dynamic sport.

Whether you envision starting instructional programs or leagues for players of all ages and skill levels, we are here to empower your vision. Our grants can also be used to acquire tennis equipment, spread the word about your tennis initiatives, or fund other creative tennis projects.

GCTA Grant Request



The Greater Columbus Tennis Association is committed to promoting tennis at the local level. To that end, the GCTA is offering grants to help organizations and/or individuals to initiate or expand their tennis activities. Grants may be used to start instructional programs or leagues for players of all ages, abilities, and populations. In addition, grants may be used for tennis equipment, tennis advertising, and other tennis projects. The grant money may be a supplement to funds from other sources.

Grant applicants and a primary on-court leader are required to complete the USTA’s Provider background check & complete the USTA Safe Play Online Course. To begin the SafePlay Process, click here

Grant applicants can check the status of primary on-court instructors here.
